Barcelona: A Gaudí Day
Antoni Gaudí's Barcelona in one well-paced day: the Sagrada Família, the mosaics of Park Güell and the façades of Passeig de Gràcia, linked by car between timed entries.

Barcelona without Gaudí would be a different city. His buildings, curving, colourful and full of symbols drawn from nature and faith, are spread across several neighbourhoods and almost all require timed tickets. This private day links them by car so that you arrive on time for each entry without rushing through the metro, and spend your energy looking up rather than finding your way.
The day starts at the Sagrada Família, the basilica Gaudí worked on for more than forty years and which is still being completed. In June 2026, on the centenary of his death, the central Tower of Jesus Christ was blessed, raising the basilica to 172.5 metres, the tallest church in the world. Inside, columns branch like trees and the stained glass fills the nave with colour, blue and green on one side, red and orange on the other.
A short drive uphill brings you to Park Güell, conceived as a garden city and now a public park. Its monumental zone, reached with a timed ticket, includes the great terrace with its serpentine mosaic bench, the famous salamander on the stairway and pavilions that look like they belong in a fairy tale, with views over the city to the Mediterranean.
After lunch in Gràcia or the Eixample, the afternoon is for Passeig de Gràcia, the city's grandest avenue. Here Casa Batlló, with its bone-like balconies and dragon-scale roof, and La Pedrera (Casa Milà), with its rippling stone façade and sculptural chimneys, sit a few minutes apart. You can visit one interior and rooftop, or simply admire both from the street and browse the avenue's shops.
